Pulse

REBRAND & POSITIONING • CREATIVE DIRECTION • SOCIAL MEDIA STRATEGY • PAID ADVERTISING • TRADE SHOW BRANDING

The challenge

Pulse, a progressive sexual wellness company, with a line-up of premium personal lubricants and a groundbreaking warming lubricant dispenser came to us to elevate their visual brand to match the premium nature of the product and boost their online presence. Prior to working with us, they had issues with paid advertising and the associated rules for personal care products as well as expanding from the menopause market to a younger audience and needed guidance on how to navigate this path.

The solution

After revisiting and refreshing the brand’s visual identity and messaging, we created lasting brand stories and became a part of the movement to change the stigma around intimate care. Our team led the creative direction, developing images as well as video and ad assets, launching a new website and Amazon storefront, and managing organic social media and the brand’s media buying.

The outcome

In addition to doubling sales, based on our brand and social refresh, we were featured at CES (Consumer Electronics Show), Pulse launched into retail for the first time, picked up by Urban Outfitters and is now carried in Nordstrom, Goop, and other online retailers because of this initial partnership. The brand was also highlighted on GeekWire, BBC, CNN, The Week, and Women’s Health Magazine.
